A growing body of research proves that city green spaces provide positive physical and mental health benefits. However, access is not universal. For many people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), our cities can be difficult to navigate, due the cognitive social challenges inherent within Built Environment. Problematically, are planned designed by for neurotypical who commonly neglect needs those disabilities. This paper aims identify impacts Environment on walkability a Condition. Using film, photography recordings, two alternative journeys from transport hub public park analysed. focus group consisting parents children aid investigation analysing material gathered before suggesting potential solutions identified challenges. Suggestions included transition zones provision dedicated quiet places in city, compartmentalisation large spaces, utilising technology alongside improving safety signage. Reflecting findings, this provides number urban design principles Environment, which consider Condition, will make shared more inclusive all.
